Microsoft has officially launched Xbox Cloud Gaming in India, marking a major step for the country’s growing gaming ecosystem. The service allows Indian players to stream popular Xbox titles directly to their smartphones, PCs, and smart TVs, no console required.
After months of leaks and speculation, Microsoft announced the rollout on Tuesday, expanding its global cloud gaming footprint to include India. The service is integrated into the company’s revamped Game Pass tiers- Essential, Premium, and Ultimate, all of which come with unlimited cloud streaming access.
To improve the experience for Indian gamers, Microsoft has also deployed local cloud servers in Pune and Chennai, significantly reducing latency and improving performance for smoother gameplay.
Subscribers can choose from different Game Pass plans , Essential at Rs 499 per month with access to over 50 games, Premium at Rs 699, and Ultimate at Rs 1,389 per month, which includes hundreds of titles and day-one releases. This means players can enjoy blockbuster hits like Starfield and Forza Horizon 5 instantly, without downloads or physical discs.
