Canva has rolled out its most significant platform upgrade yet with the launch of Creative OS, an integrated ecosystem combining artificial intelligence, design, and marketing tools. The update transforms Canva from a simple design tool into a full creative and business platform.
At the heart of the upgrade is a redesigned Visual Suite, featuring a powerful Video 2.0 editor built for short-form creators on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. It offers AI-assisted video generation, faster editing, and trending templates. The update also adds Forms for interactive surveys and sign-ups, and Email Design, enabling users to create and export branded emails directly from Canva.
Canva’s new AI design model is trained to understand full design layouts, allowing for instant creation of visual content aligned with brand identity. Users can also use Ask @Canva, an AI assistant that suggests layouts, visuals, and design tweaks in real time.
