# Hardware and Camera
It was the first phone to be out with the latest Android version 4.4 and came with lot more improved features compared to the older versions of the nexus phones. On the hardware, the nexus offers a Qualcomm snapdragon quad core processor clocking a speed of 2.3 GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM.
On the camera front, it comes with an 8 mega pixel camera sided by an LED flash and a 1.3 mega pixel one on the front side. The nexus has an internal storage memory of 16 or 32 GB and the phone is powered by a 2300 mAh battery offering a talk time of 17 hours.
Primarily when the phone was released, there were some glitches with the 8MP rear camera on the Nexus 5. But all those were fixed and Google responded to those issues clearing the air for better performance.
# Android 5.0 Lollipop
The Google Nexus 5 gets the Android 5.0 Lollipop update and is one of the few devices that currently support the latest Android update. On the other hand, you can’t find that many devices that run the Android Lollipop and with that point to be considered, the Nexus 5 is a good deal compared to other phones.
