BENGALURU: Latest and trending apps are so crucial for the increasing demand for the Smartphone market. Apps add life to Smartphones but what are those important apps which occupy maximum space on our entire home screens? To figure that out—Homescreen, a new application formulated by Betaworks, which lets you share with others what's on your iPhone's home screen, created a designated page to show off the "top apps" used by the Homescreen members.

This data charted for us by BI Intelligence which is a research service from Business Insider shows that most Homescreen users have top apps like Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. Out of these  Google claims six apps in the top 28 Homescreen apps. And one interesting tidbit worthy of note is that none of them are games applications.

Instagram is the New Cool:

Instagram takes the first spot in Homescreens list of top apps. Instagram has overtaken Facebook and Whatsapp which have been the leading applications for quite a long time.
