IBM Debuts AI Agents to Boost Oracle Fusion Automation

- IBM introduces three AI agents on Oracle Fusion Applications Marketplace.
- Agents target automation in intercompany, sales, and procurement workflows.
- Expansion planned for HR and supply chain with watsonx Orchestrate.
IBM has announced the launch of three new AI powered agents on the Oracle Fusion Applications AI Agent Marketplace, designed to help enterprises streamline and automate key business processes. Developed by IBM Consulting using Oracle’s AI Agent Studio, these new tools aim to enhance efficiency for users of Oracle’s cloud-based applications.
The first of the three, the intercompany agent, simplifies the process of reviewing and approving intercompany agreements. The second, called the smart sales order entry agent, assists in automating sales-order creation by generating key data for order-to-cash operations. The third, the requisition to contract agent, helps manage the conversion of purchase requisitions into contract purchase orders, reducing manual work and accelerating procurement cycles.
IBM also plans to expand its offering by developing more AI agents focused on HR and supply chain operations, using its own AI platform, watsonx Orchestrate. These additions will further strengthen automation options for Oracle customers and enhance the ecosystem of intelligent business tools within Oracle Fusion.
