Here Are Populous Videos Even before YouTube Existed

# We Like The Moon

The site RatherGood.com in the early 2000s was a mess of weird and insane flash animation cartoons. ‘We Like The Moon’ was just one of the lot that caught on, for its creepy sponge monkey characters and awful musical performance - a usual trend in the creator’s videos, featuring odd and silly songs by his band.

In the due course of time, ‘We Like the Moon’ was picked by Quizno's and it became the motivation for its advertisements that appeared on television.

# Star Wars

A teenager filming himself reenacting an imaginary fight scene with a pretend Star Wars light saber, went viral over the internet. According to Know Your Meme, the video was uploaded on to the Kazaa and it spread from there, ending up in several Internet humor websites.

It eventually was transformed into parodies and remixes created with different special effects. The original unedited Star Wars Kid video has now been viewed over a billion times.

# Dancing Baby

This video rewinds all the way to back to 1996. The Dancing Baby shows a 90s 3D animation of a baby in a diaper dancing to the intro of a song by a Swedish rock band. The video went viral from a chain of email messages which were forwarded at the time before the social media sites came in.
