China’s First Space Station
The first space station is an experimental test bed to demonstrate orbital rendezvous and docking capabilities. According to Chinese space authorities, the first space station of their country is scheduled to be operational by 2022. It is considered to be single largest space structure within a single location, in the world. Modules like scientific research to military applications are expected to join the initiative in future. Named ‘Tiangong-1’ meaning "Heavenly Palace 1" it is going to be a most expected venture these days.
