Quantum Communication Satellite
Quantum teleportation is now not confined to textbooks; China is bringing it into real life by launching the world’s first quantum communication satellite in June 2016. The satellite creates a major, encrypted communication between China and Europe. It actually pilots if the quantum property of entanglement extends over a distance of more than 1,000 kilometers; it travels by beaming entangled photons between space and the stations on Earth.
