Dark Themes or Wallpapers

LCD and AMOLED are the two main smartphone displays currently available. LCD uses a backlighting system that illuminates every pixel on the screen whereas in AMOLED the pixels are individually lit and thus consumes more power. AMOLED displays are now found in most high end smartphones, and using a darker wallpaper or theme will prevent your phone from losing too much power.

Do Not Disturb

Do Not Disturb, introduced in Lollipop, allows users to schedule a specific period in which notification sounds are disabled. You can enable this feature while you sleep (don’t if you like the sound of notifications while sleeping), to save battery and for a sound sleep.
