Get the Most Out of Your Android's Battery with These Simple Tweaks
Shorter Screen Timeout
As said earlier, display is the prime convict for draining your phone’s battery; therefore another feature within the Display settings that you can tweak is the screen’s sleep time. It is the amount of time it takes for the screen to become inactive. Usually, the default setting is at 30 seconds, but it would be better to select the shortest timeout (15 seconds) to extend battery life.
Lockscreen Notifications
Enabling lockscreen notifications may not appeal to every one of you, as a lot of sensitive content may appear on your lock screen and will interfere with your privacy. However, lockscreen notifications can extend your battery life by relieving you from the trouble of unlocking your screen every time a notification comes. You can enable this feature in Settings > Sound & Notification > When device is locked and select Show all notification content.
