Get the Most Out of Your Android's Battery with These Simple Tweaks
Keep Minimum Widgets
Widgets are great tools that show you the minimized version of your apps on the home screen, but for the sake of your android’s battery, it is better to keep them at minimum. You can keep the essential ones like the music controls or even news widget, but kill the non-essential ones like the stock widget, weather widget and similar ones. You can remove widgets by long pressing and dragging them to the trash can that appears on the top of the screen.
Vibrations and Haptic Feedback
Haptic feedback is the vibrations you feel when you type on the keyboard or tap the screen–do you really need that? These buzzes activate the vibration motor and sucks up more power. Therefore the best option is to turn off those battery sucking vibrations by going to Settings > Sound & Notification > Other Sounds, to save a bit of power that would later come in handy.
