BANGALORE: A company’s innovation and protection can be judged by the number of patents in their bag. Some companies try very hard to get the patents and some are shy to show them to public. Elon Musk announced that Tesla would give away all of its patents for free, which was bold move in last year, reports Businessinsider.
The two ideas which tech companies are drawn towards are, they stock up their patents or give them up in the sense of co-operation. With the help of IFI Claims here are the tech companies that filed the most U.S. patents in 2014.
#No. 10 Panasonic
Panasonic with 2,095 patents in hand are at the basal of our list. The company began the year with 2,601 patents by the end, had 2,095 patents, which is not a bad of a loss when compared to other companies who lost many patents and slipped out of top 10. Panasonic seem to have invented a “Touch Panel” that enhances visibility of touch screens with no backlight.
