Oracle specializes in developing and marketing computer hardware systems and enterprise software products–particularly its own brands of database management systems. In the market for business intelligence software, many other software companies have successfully competed in quality with Oracle but Oracle has emerged up fighting daringly with the ups and downs. 13 out of the top 50 firms consider the giant tech player in competition.
Oracle Financials was ranked in the Top 20 Most Popular Accounting Software Infographic by Capterra in 2014, beating out SAP and a number of their other competitors. Oracle is the second-largest software maker by revenue, after Microsoft.
