YouTube Expands AI Features via IICT and AIIMS Collaborations
- YouTube rolls out new AI tools to help creators and students learn faster and create better.
- Partners with IICT and AIIMS to strengthen digital education in creative and health sectors.
- Launches 'Create with AI' to fund AI-driven projects and offer hands-on AI training.
YouTube is expanding its AI capabilities in India through two major partnerships, with the Indian Institute of Creative Technology (IICT) and the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). The announcement was made at the YouTube Impact Summit, where the platform outlined its plans to support digital education, creator growth, and access to trustworthy information.
As part of the collaboration, YouTube will help IICT build stronger learning pathways in animation, visual effects, gaming, and extended reality (AVGC-XR). The goal is to equip creators, students, and working professionals with practical skills that match the fast-growing demands of the creative industry. IICT will also launch its official YouTube channel to host tutorials, expert talks, and training sessions, making creative education more accessible across India.
A major highlight of the summit was the introduction of 'Create with AI', a new funding initiative that encourages innovation through artificial intelligence. The program includes AI skill-building modules and hands-on training to help participants experiment with advanced AI tools for content creation, learning, and productivity.

YouTube is also strengthening its connection with the health sector by working with AIIMS to make reliable medical information easier to access. Through new AI-powered features, users will be able to receive clearer explanations, verified content, and conversational tools that make complex topics easier to understand.
By combining YouTube’s platform strength with IICT’s academic knowledge and AIIMS’ medical expertise, the company aims to support a new generation of creators, promote digital well-being, and widen access to high-quality learning resources.
