Technologies That Were Huge Flops In 2014
Jelly the App not the candy:
There is a popular saying that goes “try and try till you succeed” and no one in the present world is living this saying than Biz Stone the co-founder of Twitter. He started a new app called Jelly which was to be a crowd source Q and A app. This app didn’t survive long. It Jellied out of the app store faster than it jellied in. Biz Stone isn’t done yet, he has moved on from Jelly and is apparently coming out with another app or media platform and the world will have to wait and watch to see if this one will bring him success.
Apple’s Upgrade iOS 8.0.1 downgraded:
As much as we love Apple there are times when the wrongs have to be mentioned and this company is one that takes these wrongs and makes them right immediately. Like all software, Apple’s iOS needed an upgrade which the company did provide but when the upgrade was installed most owners of iPhones had a huge problem. The upgraded version caused a black out on the phones. Apple quickly resolved the problem but the iOS 8.0.1 will always be known as a failure in their software’s upgrade.
