1965 – 1985

Nokia began producing electronic equipments for telecommunications industry. Nokia DX 200, a digital switch for telecom exchange was invented, paving a way for the Company to develop various other telecommunication products as well. The foundation for handheld device, Mobira, was also laid during this period.
