HP, a leading PC and printer manufacturer, unveiled its most powerful AI-enabled PCs in India, targeting large enterprises, startups, and retail consumers. The new offerings, the HP EliteBook Ultra and HP OmniBook X, mark the company’s first Copilot+ PCs.
These innovative devices are built around the Snapdragon X Elite processor, featuring a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) capable of 45 trillion operations per second (TOPS). This advanced processing power allows the laptops to run language models and generative AI locally on the device, significantly enhancing their performance and capabilities.
“Our next-gen AI PCs are designed to enhance work efficiency, boost security, and offer personalized experiences for hybrid workstyles. We are excited to see how these innovative devices will drive India's digital transformation and economic growth”, said Ipsita Dasgupta, Senior Vice President and Managing Director of HP India.
The HP EliteBook Ultra starts at Rs 1,69,934 and is available in Atmospheric Blue. It features the thinnest design in its class and a robust battery, ensuring long-lasting performance. Additionally, it includes enterprise-grade endpoint security to protect data in an era of increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks.
Priced at Rs 1,39,999, the HP OmniBook X comes in Meteor Silver and is tailored for retail customers, including creators and freelancers who require a powerful and versatile device for their dynamic lifestyles.
“We are thrilled to unveil our first fully loaded AI PCs in India with the HP EliteBook Ultra and HP OmniBook X. These AI PCs are designed to create more personalized and meaningful user experiences”, said Vineet Gehani, Senior Director of Personal Systems at HP India.
Both laptops come with the built-in HP AI Companion, a personal AI assistant designed to boost productivity and creativity. Combined with Copilot+ PC capabilities, these devices offer a supercharged computing experience that enhances both creativity and productivity.
Weighing just 1.3 kgs, these laptops are the world’s thinnest next-gen AI PCs and boast up to 26 hours of battery life, according to the company.
HP’s latest AI PCs are set to transform the computing landscape in India, offering advanced technology that meets the evolving needs of modern businesses and consumers.
