Cortana
Cortana first originated from Microsoft’s bestseller game, Halo: Combat Evolved. In game, Cortana was a female holographic artificial assistant that was meant to assist people performing various tasks. Microsoft will be introducing Cortana in the upcoming Windows as a digital assistant that also operates on voice based commands and is based on the concept of machine learning.
