The Twitter Gaffe
Latest reports suggest that more than 32 million Twitter accounts have been hacked, according to LeakedSource. The website claims that a hacker going by the alias Tessa88@exploit.im has obtained a database which contains user ids and passwords of 32 million accounts. Data breaches are not new to twitter. According to a blog post by Symantec in May, more than 2500 Twitter accounts were compromised in recent times. The accounts were then used to tweet links to porn sites and nude images of women.
