# Apple pay

The iPhone 6 comes with support for Apple’s new mobile payments service. The NFC chip on the phone helps with the contact-less payments at supported terminals where purchases are authenticated by the device’s TouchID sensor.

 The company has teamed up with credit card companies like American Express, MasterCard and Visa along with the six largest banks in the US too. The Apple’Pay service will be available in the US next month.

Both models come with network improvements compared to the older iPhone models. The newer devices support 20 different frequency bands which allow them to operate in more countries.

The Feature called carrier aggregation allows the devices to make use of multiple frequency bands at the same time and offers 50 percent faster speeds than the iPhone 5S. Other than this, Apple has also improved Wi-Fi capabilities on the iPhone 6.
