BANGALORE: For all the Apple fans in India out there, the wait for the next generation iPhone is over. The company has announced that the iPhone 6 will hit the shelves in the Indian market starting from October 17. Here’s something more to cheer about, Apple’s iPhone plus with a 5.5-inch screen is the biggest phone launched by the company. So, here is a list of things you can know about it as compiled by the Tech 2 and some inputs from Gizmodo too.

# Design

Compared to the older models of the iPhone that is the 5c and the 5S, that had flat designs on them iPhone 6 plus is larger, thinner and comes with more curved design. The phone has Pill shaped volume controls on the side which is the same as the ones on the iPad Air that was launched earlier.

The iPhone 6 plus comes with a 1920x1080 pixels on it which has much more pixels than the previous generation 5S. Both the new Apple phones are supposed to be the fastest iPhone models with an all new A8 chip set on it. According to the Tech 2, Apple claims to have 2 billion transistors on it which makes it 25 percent faster for multi tasking.

# Camera

The device comes with an 8 mega pixel snapper that gets a new sensor for the faster auto focus to avoid blurry pictures.  One of the best features is the burst selfies and the slow motion video recording feature. It also gets image stabilization that detects and corrects the shaky snaps.
