Facebook To Introduce 'Dislike' Button Very Soon

BANGALORE: When going through Facebook, there are certain posts that we do not like or feel sad about and clicking on the ‘Like’ button just doesn’t quite fit the kind of reply we want to give for that particular status or post. Well in order to bring a solution, Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg is planning to introduce a ‘Dislike’ button.

When thinking about the psychological possibility of the word, Mark feels that it could be used as a tool to demean people or their posts. So, the team at Facebook is looking at how to create another emotional response that will fit to the kind of posts that are updated without causing people pain, insecurity or a tool to demean them. As noticed and claimed by people, social media is one of the biggest most influential platforms that create opinions and makes decisions for many people. So in this era were the social media has a lot to say with how people behave it is of utmost necessity that the team create an emotional response button that will not in any way harm people.

"One of things we've thought about for quite a while is what's the right way to make it so that people can easily express a broader range of emotions," said Zuckerberg, reports Times of India. This is the question that the team will have to answer as a ‘Dislike’ button could become a decisive factor for Facebook. We will just have to wait and watch to see what unfolds in this direction.
