Google's New Messaging App to Compete with Facebook
BENGALURU: Google, the important element of parent company Alphabet Inc, is in news for building a mobile messaging application expanding its area of functions and offering greater competition to its rivals. This new introduction of the messaging application aims on getting ahead with the similar services being offered by networking giant Facebook, reports IBNLive.
The new messaging application will includes features of Google’s artificial intelligence know-how, software programs or integrating chatbots that will aid in replying to the questions in the app.
Texting friends or a chatbot will be available on the messaging app. The answers from the chatbot will be generated after web or other sources research on the similar kind of questions.
However, it is still unknown what this new app will be called and when it would get launched.
This new app is yet to be out when biggies in the chat app market like Facebook’s WhatsApp and Messenger, WeChat and Google’s Hangouts already quite popular.
Any kind of confirmation or comment on this news is still pending from Google.
