BENGALURU: Android phones are good at a lot of things, but battery life is not one of their strong suits. They have a bad rap for short battery life, but you can give your android’s battery a boost by making some minor adjustments. Adaptive Brightness

The biggest battery hog in android phones is the display and the increasing screen sizes do not help much either. The brighter your screen, the more juice it will use.  A lot of people also use adaptive brightness–a feature that adjusts the brightness of your screen according to the ambient light. This is a great feature, but it drains the juice out of the battery. The feature can be unchecked in Settings > Display >Adaptive Brightness to enjoy prolonged battery life.
