Sighting women’s safety as a critical issue running through the country, and the inadequate nature of smartphone safety apps, the team came up with a low-cost Suraksha Kavach. It comes with GSM, GPS and an embedded camera that can be worn on the wrist like a watch and can fire an alarm with a button.
