Innovation: Desalination of Sea Water

Team Members: Ishan, Anjali Bhalla, Abhishek Malhotra, Akash Garg and Srishti Sudan

The team proposed a cost-efficient solution to desalinate seawater that comprises of fixing a small quantity of brine at the bottom of a still and then filling it up with seawater. This, when exposed to sunlight, produces water vapor which is then condensed in a vessel.
