Recently, a professor, Harold Haas, from the University of Edinburgh has come up with a new innovation. Pf. Haas’ ‘PureLifi’ uses light rays to liberate internet signal, which is 100 times faster than conventional Wi-Fi.

Li-Fi, or Light Fidelity, suddenly stole the spotlight in news these days because an Estonian company called Velmenni conducted a real-world test where it was able to transfer data between devices at 1 Gbps. This is the fastest wireless internet the mankind ever observed.
