Delivering supplies at remote and war struck areas would be much safer. S.W.A.R.M. (Search with Aerial RC Multi-rotor) is a worldwide volunteer search and rescue network of SAR Drone Pilots dedicated to searching for missing persons. The group has over 3,000 volunteering pilots ready to respond to calls from families of missing persons.

Wildlife Preservation – Drones can be they eye in the sky, especially in the context of wildlife preservations due to their mobility and relatively silent operation. It also negates the risks of deploying people close to wild animals. Capable of tracking endangered animals, drones can also identify migration patterns and chart forest loss. Studies show that a major portion of animals are not alarmed by the presence of drones.  Surveillance drones can be used to detect illegal activities and fend off poachers. World Wildlife Fund for Nature, a conservation organization in collaboration with Google aims to fend off poachers in Africa using drones bundled with tagging and monitoring technologies.
