The marketing and data aggregation firm, Exactis was not popular until the hack that happened in June 2018. Exactis built a database that consisted of personal information on millions of Americans and some other businesses. Unfortunately, the database was built on an unsecured server and exposed almost two terabytes worth of data that had email addresses, home addresses, contact numbers and more.
