Using a 2G network to make a voice call would seem hilarious and meaningless. For example, in Mumbai even text based content like tweets fails to work on a 2G network. However, it becomes obvious of the fact that one needs to check their connectivity, for it works only with a 3G or Wi-Fi connection.
