Well the older people didn’t like the separate site dedicated to them and hence it failed to become big. Also the long process to register was a headache so it was shut down in 2008.

The site came into existence in 2004 created by Ramu Yalamanchi, which was a normal featured social site. It had all the basic features like sharing photos, uploading, notifications and messaging and later on added on games.
This site was declared at one point the most popular site. But the tendency to focus on gaming and entertainment it faded away from the social site trend. It is still in existence just that it is not as popular and hardly known to many of the present generation.

A diverse form of social sites, this site allows users to maintain a blog, journal or diary. It was created and launched back in 1999 and was used by people to comment on the political setup in Russia.
