# Custom keyboard shortcuts

Shortcuts are made to enhance your working efficiency and speed up your on-going task in hand without the tiring navigation through the settings and drop down menus.

Using keyboard shortcuts are common and we all love them and even Gmail has its own shortcuts enabling you to speed up your work.

New feature available in Gmail Labs enable you to customize your own shortcuts from Gmail’s settings page as well along with Gmail’s default keybindings.

# Preview external services in messages

You always wanted a feature that lets you know at instant what you have in store in the messages sent to you. New feature available in Gmail Labs let you preview other things embedded in the message like videos, documents, voicemails and images sent by a certain service provider.

Take for example, if a user has sent you a address attached in the mail, with the help of the preview feature, Google maps will automatically show you the address on a map.

Preview Labs for Google Voice, Yelp, and Picasa are also available if you and your other contacts listed on the mail are using it.
