Richard Branson is an English business magnate and investor. He is best known as the founder of Virgin Group, which comprises more than 400 companies.
In 2011, Branson served on the Global Commission on Drug Policy with former political and cultural leaders of Latin America and elsewhere, in a bid to boost the effort to achieve more humane and rational drug laws.
In December, 2013 Branson urged companies to boycott Uganda because of their "anti-homosexuality bill." Branson stated that it would be "Against my conscience to support this country, governments must realize that people should be able to love whoever they want."
In 2014, Branson joined forces with African Wildlife Foundation and partner WildAid for the "Say No" Campaign, an initiative to bring public awareness to the issues of wildlife poaching and trafficking.
