Meet Google's New Self-Driving 'Pod' Car


Safety

Safety wise, the Pod does not come with air bags, nor brake pedals and accelerator pedals. But, the tech giant is planning to accompany safety drivers aboard with a removable steering, accelerator pedal and brake pedal, which will help in immediate situations.

Testing

Google has further plans to build and test 25 pods in neighborhood surroundings. However, the company is looking forward towards improving the Pod’s interactive level to suit the passenger’s requirements. The company plans to build 50 to 100 Pods and test it in hilly and rainy conditions.
