Beware! These Android Apps Can be Harmful

Dolphin Browser

With more than 150,000,000 downloads, Dolphin Browser is one of the most popular Android browsers. Though Dolphin is a pretty useful app providing multiple features like AdBlock, flash player, and HTML5 video player, the app also has the same tracking issues found in UC. What’s more, you may think that you are safe while browsing incognito; sadly you’re not. Dolphin saves your browsing history in incognito mode as a file by the name of “playHistory.xml” on your phone’s archives which can be accessed pretty easily. The file also contains information about all the videos you’ve played in the browser.

DU Battery Saver & Fast Charge

You might have seen DU Battery Saver adverts at least once. This popular battery saver app from DU Apps Studio promises “50 percent more battery life” for Android phones. Is it really any good? Nope. The app has the ability to save battery with some intuitive features but when it comes to fast charging, the app is not worth it. It is better to save your precious internal memory rather than installing this app, or for the matter, any fast charging app out there.
