Apple iMessage Far More Secure Than Google Hangout

A message sent from your computer gets encrypted/ authorized person reads it, which is available in a coding language or algorithm. This happens even before the message is received by the recipient. In simple, it means that no third party can read your message.

Apple confesses the fact that it uses end-to-end encryption while Google has been notoriously vague in using it. David Lieber, Google security official questioned the reason as to, “Why has Google refused to be transparent about its ability to provide wiretaps for Hangouts?

Richard Salgado, another security official for Google goes out to say that, "Hangouts are encrypted in transit” meaning, Google has the capability of knowing the confidential messages which you have sent. Once these messages reach Google, it is believed that there is no much security given to it when compared to iMessaging.

In fact, iMessaging secures the messages and provides confidentiality to its users, whereas it comes to No-technical readers Google Hangouts get encrypted/coded in between your computer and Google servers, once the message is sent. This gives Google full access to your confidential data, which is in a way depriving you of your right to privacy.
