BENGALURU: With the Android Lollipop released, the users who get to update their phones are delighted and looking forward to use the features on the OS. But apparently, the lollipop has some bugs in it and has left users in a dilemma. So, to help you out with that here are some of the bugs that were found on Android 5.0 and their fixes as compiled by the Times of India.

# Battery Life Issues

Battery issues on the Android Lollipop are supposed to have been experienced by the users and it looks like Google wasn't able to resolve all the bugs before the OS was released. Based on the forum, the posts about the battery life problems are seen to be more than the Wi-Fi and social media posts seen. But once the issues are resolved according to the updates about the Android 5.0 OS, the device should give a good battery life.

# The Fixes To It

Factory resetting the device has apparently helped out some users.

After this there is the problem of older apps that haven't been updated and one of these applications might be conflicting with the Android 5.0’s code leading to draining the battery on the device. So removing the apps that haven't been recently updated would help. You can also actually check which app is taking up lot of power on the Battery page in Settings.

It also lets you switch the settings like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, uninstall specific apps and look at the changes. However, Google has given out an update to fix one of the battery life issue so keep your device up to date.
