Yotta, Nvidia Unveil Six New AI Services to Accelerate AI in India
Yotta Data Services, along with global tech giant Nvidia, introduced six next-generation AI platform services under the 'Shakti Cloud' platform to speed up AI adoption in India. The six new AI services were launched during the Nvidia AI Summit at Mumbai, aiming to make 'Shakti Cloud' a hub for the myriad business, research, and innovation communities seeking commodified AI capabilities at competitive cost.
The new AI services would be available through a token-based system and GPU seconds model, making AI accessible across industries. Yotta's Co-founder, CEO, and MD, Sunil Gupta said, "Our AI solutions built with Nvidia's technology are working to break barriers to allow organizations to increase speed, flexibility, and scalability in AI development".
This supports Nvidia AI Enterprise software integrated with open-source tools and libraries on the 'Shakti Cloud' platform itself, which comprises an advanced orchestration layer and a self-service portal. Now, with access to Nvidia's powerful GPUs, Indian AI innovators have a sound, local solution through which to pursue their AI initiatives free of any dependence on international infrastructure.
Nvidia Vice President, Enterprise and Cloud, Raj Mipuri, stated that NVIDIA combines the state-of-the-art technology with Yotta cloud infrastructure for accelerated AI solution development and deployment.
Yotta has cloud regions in its hyperscale data centre parks in Panvel (Navi Mumbai) and Greater Noida (Delhi NCR). Its homegrown hyperscale cloud platform 'Yntraa empanelled by MeitY also supports large-scale government projects.
Darshan Hiranandani, Co-Founder and Chairman of Yotta, explains the significance of Shakti Cloud for India: she needs to complement the future of AI in India with cost-effective tools and computing power that will position India ever further at the top of the global tech landscape.
