Will Smartphones Collapse PC Brigade in Future?
ARM develops chip designs for companies like Qualcomm and MediaTek, these companies will have enormous gain if it is able to bring this technology to consumers and office workers. Nevertheless, the Smartphones have taken over other devices but not sure whether it cannot replace personal computers.
If we consider functions like writing stories, editing videos or producing music, we have to use PC though Smartphones, which are becoming powerful than PC. “In addition to weakening the PC market, a more robust Smartphone may also hurt sales of tablet computers, owing in part to Smartphones now coming out with bigger screens.” said Ferguson.
"We're going to start seeing a change this year," Ferguson said of people creating more content on their phones. "I think '16 is a pivotal year where you're going to see a significant uptick." Some do not agree that Smartphones can wholly replace other devices.
