Why is iPhone 6 is Better Than the iPhone 6 Plus?
BENGALURU: iPhone King Apple always shies away from disclosing the exact, or even an approximate count of the devices it sells. However, Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (CIRP) sourced the need of the hour by answering to the question of many who wonder which one of the two is choice of the masses- as reported by India Today.
Do you think iPhone 6 has outperformed iPhone 6 Plus? Well here is the answer. CIRP released a sales breakdown of the two devices during the first 30 days of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus availability in the U.S.
CIRP’s analyst Steve Milunovich has revealed that the iPhone 6 bagged nearly 68 per cent of the total iPhone sales in the U.S. during the first 30 days after launch there. The 'bigger' iPhone 6 Plus on the other hand amassed between 23 and 24 per cent of the sales. Here it is- Apple doesn’t always appeal to all.
This data clearly suggests that the iPhone 6 is certainly a popular grab in the U.S., beating the iPhone 6 Plus by a more than comfortable margin. Such greater popularity of the iPhone 6 in the U.S. could be due to a very simple fact that American consumers still prefer smaller sized devices in sharp contrast to their Asian counterparts who prefer larger phablets. Therefore in spite of the advanced technology users prefer a handy piece rather than larger screens. iPhone 6 plus has also been out of stocks for a long time which led the users to iPhone 6.
However Apple's new iPhones enjoy considerable popularity in India, which is crazy for large screen phones. Apple might as well look for better prospects here rather than the home country.
