4. Dick Costolo

Dick Costolo is an American who founded the web feed management provider FeedBurner in 2004, along with Eric Lunt, Steve Olechowski, and Matt Shobe. After Google bought FeedBurner in 2007, Costolo became an employee of the search giant. After the acquisition, Costolo began working in different areas of Google.

In July 2009, he left Google, and in September 2009, it was announced that he was joining Twitter as its COO and in 2010 he became the CEO of Twitter.

5. Marissa Mayer

Marissa Mayer graduated with honors from Stanford University with a B.S. in symbolic systems and M.S. in computer science.

Mayer joined Google in 1999 as employee and was the company's first female engineer. She was a long-time executive and key spokesperson at Google. Currently she resides as a president and CEO of Yahoo since July 2012. Mayer was ranked 8th on the list of America's most powerful businesswomen of 2013 by Fortune magazine.
