Wadhwani Foundation Launches 3 AI Co-Pilots to Boost Indian Youth Employability

The Wadhwani Foundation, a non-profit organization, introduced three new AI Co-Pilots aimed at improving the employability of Indian youth and young adults. These AI Co-Pilots consist of My Tutor for students, My Mentor for educators, and My Interview Coach. This expansion is integrated into the Foundation's existing AI-powered platform called Genie.AI, which offers over 1,000 hours of skill development and entrepreneurship content.
"By harnessing AI, we can ensure that critical employability skills are not only ingrained in educational institutions but also transcend socio-economic barriers to learning. The idea is to sculpt a workforce which is not just job-ready but future-proof", Dr. Ajay Kela, President and CEO, Wadhwani Foundation, said in a statement. The My Tutor Co-Pilot customizes the learning journey by providing instant support and personalized content, while My Mentor significantly improves the teaching experience by equipping educators with extra resources to deliver more impactful and interactive lessons.
According to the company, My Interview Coach assists learners in showcasing their expertise during job interviews. "Our AI-enabled platform and industry-led training equip job seekers with essential proficiencies for success ensuring they thrive in this rapidly changing job market", said Sunil Dahiya, Executive Vice President, Wadhwani Foundation.
The Genie.AI platform partners with governmental and international organizations to facilitate learning for a broad demographic, with the goal of reaching 10 million learners by 2027. It provides customized learning experiences in both English and Hindi free of charge and intends to extend its services to other Indian languages in the future.
"The AI functionality coupled with the robust 360-degree support of Genie.AI platform has the potential to create a workforce adept not just in technical skills but also armed with critical thinking and communication proficiencies," said Mark Malaspina, Chief Product Officer, Skilling, Wadhwani Foundation. Furthermore, the Foundation has stated its commitment to introducing significant new AI functionalities on the Genie.AI platform over the next few months.
