Jaitley announced Income Tax Department will be implementing 'e-Sahyog' initiative aiming at reducing compliance cost and time through resolutions via an online portal of the department. This project is intended to provide benefits to the small income tax payers to resolve any mismatches in their income tax returns-without indulging in physically visits to the Income Tax office.
