Twitter's Iconic Bird Logo Sold for Nearly $35,000

Elon Musk has previously auctioned off various Twitter memorabilia, such as office furniture and kitchen equipment. In a recent auction, the iconic blue bird logo that once graced the facade of Twitter's San Francisco headquarters was sold for a staggering $34,375. This sale occurred months after Musk rebranded the platform to "X," marking a shift away from the original Twitter branding.

The 254 kg logo, measuring 12 feet by 9 feet, was sold through RR Auction, a renowned auction house specializing in rare collectibles. While the sale was confirmed, the identity of the buyer was not disclosed.

Musk’s sale of the Twitter logo is part of a broader trend of auctioning off tech-related memorabilia. Previously, he has auctioned items from Twitter's office, including furniture and kitchen equipment, as part of his ongoing reshaping of the platform.

In the same auction, other notable tech collectibles were sold. A rare Apple-1 computer fetched an impressive $375,000, while a 1976 Apple check signed by Steve Jobs was sold for $112,054. A sealed first-generation iPhone (4GB) also attracted attention, selling for $87,514. These high-value items highlight the growing interest in technology memorabilia, reflecting the iconic status these products and brands have reached in the tech world.
