#Windows 3.0: 1990
Third in line, the Windows 3.0 was also the first in line to be popular with slighting traces of MS-DOS with improved GUI which made it much more presentable and one to reach out. The graphical icons that were provided are Program Manager and Games.
#Windows 3.1: 1991
The market in roads were laid out by this one as it is the one to climb up in IBM PC’s, the standard set and with a formidable creation made it a tough competitor in the tech world.
#Windows 95: 1995
The one we operate today most of the icons their utilities started from this 95 version like start, recycle bin, internet explorer and almost all of it. The basic design for the OS was Windows 95 until Windows 8 which later was modified.
#Windows 98: 1998
Cannot be said as a completely new set, but can be taken down as an improvement to its predecessor, as it is much more stable, fast and had incorporated some extra features on the side.
#Windows ME (“Millennium Edition”): 2000
While XP was announced to set release after this one, users ignored this OS and the sales weren’t impressive to continue even though it had better features than the previous one.
