Salesforce.com is an American cloud computing company. Even though its revenue comes from a customer relationship management (CRM) product, Salesforce also tries capitalizing on commercial applications of social networking through acquisition. As of 2015, the 16 year old company is one of the most highly valued American cloud computing companies with a market capitalization of $50 billion. According to the reports the company’s revenue is growing 25 pct per year.

Netflix

The multinational provider of on-demand Internet streaming media available to viewers in all of North and South America, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and parts of Europe, Netflix has also made it to the top five. The company was established in 1997 and it started its subscription-based service in 1999. By 2009, Netflix was offering a collection of 100,000 titles on DVD and had surpassed 10 million subscribers. The company is making an impact on the decreasing rate of cable TV subscriptions in U.S thus being powerful in 2015.
