Working Technique

The device has a well developed sophisticated technology, where the right earbud receives only the right channel of the music signal and the left earbud receives the left channel of the music signal in addition to the electrical stimulation signal. The Nervana has a central signal-processing circuit situated at the lower portion of the NERVANA Headphone cord that accepts both output signals from the NERVANA Generator and the music supply circuit that processes it in the correct channels with music sync. The earphones are also color-coded to avoid any mix up, with the blue headphone for the left ear delivering the electrical stimulation.

Benefits

The device generates an electrical signal that’s paired with music which can make you feel pleasant. Through a conductive earbud, it sends a message through the vagus nerve in your ear, and then sends a message to the brain to release dopamine. Dopamine is often referred to as the “feel good” chemical because it is an essential component of “reward-motivated behavior” in humans and animals. Dopamine generates a pleasurable feeling when you do something that helps with survival, like eating sugary foods, exercising or listening to a track. Vagus nerve stimulation has been studied for decades and the device can take the wellness benefits of the stimulation to more people in a non-invasive and easy way for consumers to use daily.

Caution

Driving a car, operating heavy machinery, or engaging in any other activity that involves electrical stimulation can put you at risk for injury while using NERVANA as it creates a state of deeper relaxation. Even though the product seems to be pretty interesting, it has not yet been reported to be completely safe and effective by the experts.
