Microsoft HoloLens claims to be the first wholly untethered, holographic computer that can enable one to interact with holograms in HD. The Microsoft HoloLens works by enabling applications in which the live presentation of physical elements is integrated with that of virtual elements so that they are perceived to exist together in a shared environment. Also, according to reports if you believe NASA is already using the HoloLens to mimic the terrain of Mars' in their testing facilities, you know the technology is good for it. The first devices for commercial use have begun shipping last month.
