The Most Prominent Black Hat Hackers

Their biggest hack was on AP, Associated press, where they posted a message about the White House being attacked and that President Obama was injured. Since then they have been targeting U.S based media outlets and houses, extracting information and the likes of it.

Putter panda:

Another group that is based out of China, Putter Panda targets American and European defense and aerospace industries according to reports from CrowdStrike. They are believed to be working for the Chinese military since their office is located in buildings owned by the PLA, People’s Liberation Army.

This group work through the cracks of Microsoft and Adobe systems whereby through malware emails. They are guarded heavily by the Chinese Army, though the government has given strong indications that they have no connection to the group.

Flying Kitten:

This group of black hats, Flying Kittens is based in Iran and is known to be targeting U.S based military and intelligence defenses. They also keep a constant tab on the Iranian government. According to CrowdStrike reports, this group no longer does regular hacking but  is now focused on internet espionage.

Earlier this year they accessed malware emails though Microsoft outlooks and tried to infiltrate top defense accounts of the U.S government, so this only leads to the fact that they either are a group working for the Iranian government or are a private group that is hired by the government. Either way they have some kind of connection to the government.
