Character limit

A recent rumor stated that Twitter has formed a second opinion on its trademark 140 character limit and has instead extended it to 1000 characters. Later on Jack Dorsey went on a conference to announce that “the 140-character limit is “a beautiful constraint” and that Twitter “will never lose that feeling.”  He decided not to do so as Twitter was born as an SMS Phone service platform and 140 character limit fits the bill.

Hashtag

Last but definitely not the least! The most interesting fact in the list is that when a user ends a tweet with an empty hashtag it is called as a hangtag and its twitter’s version of mic drop.

The twitter has transformed itself into a complete online journalism platform allowing people to voice out their opinion, share views and news. The platform also gives users an opportunity to broaden their knowledge and thinking.
